The Article of Bandung Ocean of Fire (Bandung Lautan Api/BLA) above is containing that March 24 is the anniversary date of the historical events that illustrate the persistence of the fighters and the greatness of the love of the citizens of the city of Bandung. They are willing to burn down Bandung City instead of leaving the Dutch NICA soldiers and allies. The incident occurred on March 24, 1946 that we are familiar with Bandung Ocean of Fire/ Bandung Lautan Api (BLA). Within seven hours, about 200,000 residents of Bandung burn their homes, leaving the city towards the mountains in the southern area of Bandung with the fighters. This is done to prevent the allied forces and the Dutch NICA soldiers to be able to use the city of Bandung as a strategic military headquarters in the Indonesian War of Independence. People are not willing to Bandung Bandung exploited by the enemy so that they are willing to scorched earth burning their houses.
